Probably the most helpful site on the internet today.  Great place to help you do research on Veterans service, Aircraft and Units of the USAAF

 

Mighty Eighth AF Message Boards

 

Best message board on the internet for getting answers to your inquiries regarding USAAF in WWII

 

Historic Wings.com

 

Another good research source.  Also a good message board

    (Missing Air Crew Report)

 

Social Security Death Index Search

 

Search for people that are deceased in the Social Security Data base this can at least answer if the veteran you are looking for is still alive.  Very easy to use

 

Mighty 8th Cross Reference Databases
